Dos bordados del libro de Blackbird Designs titulado " Honeysuckle Manor " que recoge samplers y proyectos como éste , diseñados a partir de un antiguo sampler adquirido por Barb Adams.

Siguiendo las instrucciones ofrecidas en ese cuadernillo, he montado el acerico de gran tamaño sobre una caja de papel maché, forrada con unas hojas de un diccionario inglés antiguo, ..... y la cinta métrica . Tenía justamente una guardada hace tiempo , algo cuadrada y con las esquinas redondeadas. Tras pasar algunos apuros , he conseguido forrar mi primera cinta métrica " con cierto éxito ".

Aún queda algo más que haga juego con estos accesorios . Se trata de otro pequeño acerico sobre una base de madera y un guardahilos también sobre el mismo material ...... Habrá que buscar algo en el "taller del carpintero casero" .

Todas las piezas aquí ofrecidas son rápidas de bordar y ofrecen una conversión a los hilos DMC. Dos samplers son los protagonistas ... uno de ellos es la reproducción del original que aparece en la portada.

Me gustaría hacer al completo todos los diseños..... No voy mal , de los nueve planteados , cuatro están acabados o a medio..... Así que ya os iré contando mis avances....

Kolam Renang sudah biasa saat ini, tapi bagaimanakah rasanya jika anda
berenang di kolam renang yang berada diatas gedung setinggi 200 meter ?

Kolam ini berada di hotel Marina Bays Sand, Singapore. kolam renang ini
sekarang diakui sebagai kolam renang teringgi didunia tepatnya pada
ketinggian 200 meter dan diatas gedung 55 lantai.

Kolam ini dibangun diatas atap gedung yang diberi nama Sands Skypark
, atap ini disokong oleh 3 gedung. atap ini pun memiliki panjang 380 meter
dan kolam renangnya pun memiliki panjang 150 meter.

Seperti kolam renang yang lain, kolam ini tidak memiliki dinding pembatas
sehingga akan lebih memberikan sensasi melayang disaat berenang. Tapi

kolam penampungan dulu, tidak langsung ke lantai bawah.

Esto va llegando a su fin. Os cuento que hemos estrenado el cubrecama que véis en la foto y que hace juego con los últimos cojines que os enseñaba de French General.

Claro está que con los calores que parece que estamos empezando a tener, ya sólo es un quilt " de adorno " ,pero hasta entonces y con el entre tiempo que hemos tenido días anteriores, no nos ha estorbado nada, al contrario , ha hecho la función que yo quería....... tener un cubrecama que se agradezca en los piés sin que nos de calor.

Desde un principio tenía la idea de utilizar parte de esta colección para disfrutar de sus estampados. Por eso , a pesar de que hay numerosos quilts que se han diseñado con estas telas, incluyendo Le Jardin al que me suscribí y que seguramente habéis visto muy avanzado en el blog de Georgina, o el SAL de Ana Salom con sus costureros ( ofrecido de forma gratuíta ) ....he querido hacer grandes rectángulos que sólo fueran " rotos " en su conjunto con la inclusión de algún motivo antiguo....... Algo sencillo , sin muchas pretensiones, rápido de coser y de disfrutar.....
